Ralph Rossi, Jr.
A life-long resident of Wilton and 1985 graduate of Wilton High School, Ralph has tirelessly campaigned for the advancement  of lacrosse in our town and beyond. He gave up the business world to concentrate full time on educating young people in the game of lacrosse at many different levels. In 2002 Ralph began his coaching career by leading the Ridgefield High School Junior Varsity team. In 2003 he took over the Head Boys Varisty Coach at Ridgefield and played a major part in the overall advancement of that program through 2006. His career was culminated by being named the 2006 Class M Connecticut Coach of the Year and the Danbury New Times All Area Coach of the Year. In 2007 Ralph was named Defensive Coordinator of Western Connecticut State University, which in 2008 won the Little East Conference Championship and entry into the Division III NCAA tournament. In 2009 he was promoted to Assistant Coach.
    Ralph also volunteers his time as coach of the Wilton Senior 8th grade A team which he has compiled a 28-4 record in his two years, capped off with an undefeated championship season in 2008, a feat that is believed to be the first since CONNY lacrosse began. 
    He began his collegiate playing career as a two-year starter on defense/LSM at Guilford College in 1986 and 87. Following his sophomore campaign in 1987, Rossi transferred to Syracuse University where he became a member of the Orangemen's lacrosse team as a walk on during the spring of 1988. He later graduated from Syracuse in 1990.

Michelle Ralph
Currently the Lacrosse Head Coach at Ridgefield High School and going into her fifth season, Michelle is the Women's Lacrosse Director at North County Sports and instructs girls from ages 4 to 18, conducting numerous group clinics in addition to specializing in private lessons. A working mom of two, Michelle's commitment to teaching and advancing the game of lacrosse is par to none. It is because of this hard work and dedication that she has just been selected to coach the U13 Connecticut Chapter US Lacrosse team this summer.
    As a student at Widener University, Coach Ralph played Division III lacrosse and was on the starting team all three years. After college she continued her playing career for a number of years with the Greenwich Academy Summer League in Greenwich, Connecticut. A graduate of Horace Greeley High School in Westchester, New York, Ralph played two years varsity as attack wing and center (she was the only junior on the starting lineup with all senior players). She served as Co-Captain her senior year and led in goals both her junior and senior years.
    Coach Ralph was awarded All-County Girls Lacrosse Honorable Mention Junior Year and named All-County Girls Lacrosse First Team in her senior year.

Jason Ouellet
An outstanding up and coming coach, Jason Ouellet enters his fourth season at the helm of the WestConn men’s lacrosse team after serving two years as an assistant to coach Rick McCarthy. In 2008, Ouellet led the Colonials to the Little East Conference Tournament title and their first appearance in the NCAA Division III National Championships. Ouellet guided the Colonials to an overall record of 6-9 in 2006 (2-4 in the Little East Conference) and improved to 10-8 in 2007 (3-3 LEC). Last year's team went 13-7 overall and 4-2 in league play. In 2008, Jason was named Little East Conference Coach of the Year.
    Ouellet graduated from Avon Old Farms in 1997 where he played hockey and lacrosse. He was named to the All-Founders League during his senior year. He went on to star in lacrosse at Hobart College and captained the team during his senior campaign in 2001. He was named to the Patriot League All-Star First Team in 2000 and 2001 and appeared in the North/South All-Star game. The Cheshire resident coached for two seasons at Yale University following graduation from Hobart.

Paul Sclafani
In addition to serving as Ridgefield High School Assistant Coach from 2003-2006, Sclafani has served as assistant coach with the Newtown youth lacrosse program.
    A 1990 Graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Sclafani captained the OWU Men's Lacrosse Team in 1990, when he was also named NCAA championship game MVP.  At OWU, he was also a four-year letter winner, three-time starter at attack, three-time All NCAC (1988-1990), four-time NCAC Champion (1987-1990), three-time NCAA Division III National Champion Runner-Up (1987-1989) and NCAA Championship Game MVP runner-up (1989).
    Sclafani graduated from Portledge School, Farmingdale, NY, in 1986, where he still holds the record for all points, goals & assists.

    In the 2007-08 seasons, Paul along with Coach Rossi helmed the Wilton Senior eighth grade A team leading them to the aformentioned 28-4 record. Their undefeated championship season in 2008 is believed to be the first in CONNY lacrosse history.

Jocelyn Kuchta
Currently playing for Division 1 University of Denver, Jocelyn is a true powerhouse when it comes to women’s lacrosse.  She played varsity lacrosse at Ridgefield High School for three years and in her junior year was picked 2nd Team All-FCIAC and 2nd Team All-State.  Senior year Jocelyn served as Captain and was chosen 1st Team FCIAC and 1st Team All-State. She was also named Danbury News-Times All-Area Pick.
   Her biggest accomplishment came when Division 1 University of Denver came knocking. Joceyln now plays for Denver’s team and continues to provide clinics, private lessons and summer camp instruction when back in the Connecticut area.

Nicole Gerosa
A four year lacrosse star, Nicole led her Branford High team to the lacrosse championships every year she played. Was a member of the 2006 Senior All Star game and CTLF (Connecticut Lacrosse Futures). Won the Hustle award during her career. Nicole is now enjoys playing Division 1 lacrosse for Sacred Heart University.

Eileen Farrell
Eileen holds a BA degree from the University of Rhode Island where she was team captain and then coached the women's lacrosse team. She also was the assistant coach for Rocky Hill Preparatory School in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Eileen's numerous lacrosse awards include CIAC All-State Second Team (2003-2004) and All-SWC First Team (2003-2004). Eileen is currently the assistant women's lacrosse coach at WestConn.

Stefanie Burra

A 4-letter winner at New Fairfield High, Stefanie was All SWC First Team (2005-2006), Honorable mention All SWC (2004), South West conference champion (2005), Connecticut State champion (2005), All Area (2006-2007), All State Division 1, Second Team (2007), All Area Selection (2007), Team Co-Captain, Connecticut Senior All Star Team.

Brooke Flanagan
Team captain at Wilton High school, Brooke is a 4 year starter on WHS varsity team. Among her playing honors: 1st team FCIAC, 1st Team All Area, 1st Team All State 2008. She was the all time leading scorer in midfield as a junior. Brooke has accepted a scholarship to play lacrosse at Colgate University.

Chelsea Helms
Chelsea is one of the area's best high school players, having played for three years for Nor'Easter Lacrosse. Now an excellent varsity player, Chelsea enjoyed much athletic success during her junior varsity years. She is also a member of her school's 2008 state championship in girls' soccer.
